1. What is Personal Data?

“Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (a data subject) in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that individual.

If you fill out contact forms available on our website, ZEGAZ will collect Personal Data directly through these forms and process such Personal Data required for following up on your request, its management, and the provision of our services. Furthermore, ZEGAZ may collect and process Personal Data when you submit your Personal Data to ZEGAZ for any reason.

We collect and process the following information relating to the use of the ZEGAZ Website such as your name, contact details, your requests and complaints, incident management, and other related information relevant to your request. 

We do not process sensitive Personal Data of special categories, as well as any biometric personal data.

• Within the scope of the processes relating to direct or indirect marketing: the customization, development, and reconstruction of the ZEGAZ Services, in accordance with the related individual’s likes, preferences, and usage habits, the realization of targeted advertising, promotion, and campaign communications with real-time location determination, carrying out data analytics and market analysis studies in order to determine the strategies and target audience regarding marketing activities (if you give consent to process your personal data  for direct or indirect marketing purposes);

• Within the scope of compliance with the legal obligations arising from the relevant legislation: fulfilment of any and all obligations arising from the relevant legislation and regulations, carrying out any and all legal proceedings initiated before legal institutions, component courts, enforcement offices, and any other authorised authorities;

• Within the scope of legal, safety and security purposes: carrying out activities in order to protect or defend our or another's rights or property, or to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, criminal activities, security, safety, or privacy issues, providing safe and secure database.

ZEGAZ collects Personal Data directly from you through contact forms. ZEGAZ may also receive Personal Data from other communication channels preferred by you.

• ZEGAZ processes the Personal Data alone or may give assignments to third parties to process your data. If we are involving data processors in the performance of our services and contractual obligations, we have entered into data processing agreements with them. 

• ZEGAZ may also transfer your Personal Data within the scope of this Policy to business partners, shareholders, affiliates, legally authorized public institutions and individuals in order to realize the above-mentioned data processing purposes within the framework of this Policy. 

• ZEGAZ and some of its third parties are located outside the EU, which has not been the subject of an adequate decision of the EU Commission pursuant to Article 45 GDPR. ZEGAZ will ensure that the level of data protection is guaranteed by taking necessary legal precautions.

• International transfer of your Personal Data is required in order to ensure that you benefit from services.

• We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including inter alia as appropriate: 

  • pseudonymisation and encryption of Personal Data;

  • the ability to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability, and resilience of processing systems and services;
